You know he's cool...

We'll start this one off just dandy, everything you read here I just thought up the minute before writing because I wanted. I have too much on my mind and simply need to get shit out, so listen up... Rutger Hauer. He's the man, the one that is above all (actors, that is). I'm not a big fan of anyone dutch, be it actors, musicians etc. (yet a bunch of painters though). But there's always a king hiding among fools. The one that shines. My Rutgerness came with the Hitcher, goddamn, what a great movie! That dryness, that evil look on his face, so appaling, yet awesome, calm; a murderer with serenity, not a whining fuck. I never knew he was dutch, until I was 'old enough' to actually watch these kind of movies (8 years old?). I said "Really...?! So the dutch actually have someone to be proud off...?!"

With all these so called famous dutch people you'd have to say they're mediocre at best (except for Paul Verhoeven of course, he's insanely genius). Not funny, not so talentful, or just plain, cringingly boring! Rutger Hauer not, he's your man, he can kick it, yes he can. I could go on for hours, maybe days describing each of these so called dutch stars (or BNers as they call them) and how insignificantly useless, lame and damn right boring these fucks are. But I'm NOT going to make time for them, cause I'd sell myself short thinking about and granting them my attention, NO WAY. The way I see it is that mediocrity sells in this country or in any country for that matter, it keeps sheep aligned. It's pathetic when you think about it (yet I hope do you).

However, before sliding down a berzerkers depression slope, Rutger Hauer is cool. And to top it off, at his old age doing Hobo with a Shotgun? That was the epitome of my respect for him. How cool, how awesome can one person get, seriously... if you haven't seen any of his movies (Blade Runner, come on!), even where he plays bit parts (Sin City, anyone?), check out his filmography and get Rutgered you bums! The world is drenched in a state of forced politeness toward accepting anything that is a copy of a copy of a copy and forgetting or ignoring the past and what it held, so do yourself a favour and seek out the best from the worst, you'll thank yourself later.
